I think that is a phishing scam... I used to get one of those type of emails every so often... I figure that since my shipping policy, methods of receiving payments and pictures of what I sell were all on my website, any type of inquiry along those lines were just scams. I've closed my website due to lack of activity and haven't had one lately.
As for shipping, it's a simple matter, go to local post office, fill out the international paperwork and the post office will give you the rates... just make sure the buyer understands, your charges are FOB their post office... any duties, taxes or customs charges are for their account. And get the money in your bank account before you ship.
