Anybody used the joiner/planer combo?

Have any of y'all used the Jet Joiner/Planer combo machines? I'm in the market for one, but have only so much room available in the shop.

I can't comment on the one you reference, but I would think the short bed would limit the length of the board you could accurately joint. If I read the specs correctly, the footprint is 20"X40.4" and it only has 2 knives.

I have this one and love it. It's footprint is 24"X26" with a table length of 67-1/2" and it has 3 rows of spiral cutterheads and weighs in at abot 10X what the Jet weighs.

I looked at this and was not impressed especially since it is a Jet product which normally are pretty good
- only 2 knives
- aluminum fence (good ones have heavy cast iron)
- sheet metal outfeed table (same as above)
..
Just my 2 cents worth
