Anybody like snowmen?

I have been making pens for about 6 months now and I thought I would try making some snowmen for my wife. Needless to say, she made me make more. Would love any comments or suggestions. Thanks for looking.

What kind of snowman are the first two ?? By the color of them, it looks like the dog may have beaten you to the snow. Very nice work !! Wifes always love snowmen. Jim S

The one on the left is made out of Hormigo Negro and the 2nd one is made out of my favorite wood, Zebrawood. The painted snowmen are just made out of pine.

I think 2 balls always looks best. I like to hollow mine out from the hat for fancy toothpick holders.

Fun! I have a few table top ornaments like these, and love it when I put them out at Christmas every year.

I saw a demo at the NC Symposium last year by Bob Baucom for snowman tree ornaments, and haven't gotten around to making them yet, and ran out of time this year. Here's a link to his article if you still have time.....
