Sorry, no real help here on the mechanic front, but I got a laugh from your comment.

My first reaction would be to harass you and other chevy lovers  If the ford is like Mars... Isn't the saying MEN are from mars?:biggrin::biggrin:

There's really no difference. It requires fuel, air, and combustion to run. I've worked on tons of Moostangs. Seems everybody owns one around here. It's some kind of redneck cult to own one.

I'll try to help, if I can. I have the same car. You have my phone number, call if you need to.

And Ernie: It's "not some kind of cult thing". The Mustang with the big engine IS the Holy Grail of REDNECKISM!

There isn't any such thing as a mustang mechanic. When they break... you buy a CHEVY. Then you can pull it to the salvage yard. Of coarse it will cost more in gas to pull it there than you will get for it.

Post your problem... a car is a car. Someone can most likely help you out if they know the issue.

Well Andy, i'm not so sure about the Big Engine theory. I've got a few project cars around here. My main one, now that my jeep is done, is a 92 Convertible Mustang. It has a 347 stroker under the hood. It also has a 9 inch underneath it. It's been lowered 3 inches and has 18" tires. I've found it to be a VERY BIG MONEY PIT. The body is in KY Chrome right now (primer gray for most people). I've also done some serious work to the interior. It's now only capable to be a 2 seater. Once I paint it, that baby is gonna be sold.
