thanks for all the comments.....i may use it in my workshop as Lenny said to dispense paper but that's probably a [ future project.....] thanks longbeard.

I'm not sure but if the white part begins to glow bright green and it turns on by itself, you are probably going to loose some teeth in the near future!:biggrin:

That's for the drum rotation mechinism. It also has a spool that the pen will climb on so it writes on new paper every rotation.
