Since my dad passed away in April, I have not had any shop time. Too busy handling estate affairs & taking care of Mom. Stated moving antlers to my shop. Moved a bunch of them already, but I still have at least another pickup load to move. My dad has kept me supplied with antlers since I started turning in 98... With his passing he will continue to keep me supplied for a long time.

Between all those antlers & your Super Bowl winnings, you should have quite a stash of turning material.

I just read your father's obituary. He sounds like an amazing man & I know you will miss him greatly. I think about my dad and all our great times together every time I go out to my shop and see some of his old tools hanging on the wall.

I hope you will post some photos of your dad's arrowhead collection and antler chandeliers some day. I'd love to see them.

Sorry about your loss Billy. It looks like your dad was a pretty good hunter. Some of those racks are pretty big.

Sorry about your loss. I know it's tough. On the positive side he left you with some things you can work with and still carry a piece of him where ever you go. After my dad passed away I went back to the house I grew up in and asked for a piece of Pecan that is huge now but I remember when dad planted it years ago. We would get weekly spankings, not weakly, when we would bend the tree over to use for a catapult or use the green pecans to throw at brothers or neighbors. I made a few pens out of it for my brother and my self.
