I use something similar in my shop. It does make a difference when standing in place for long periods of time.

I bought some from Rockler a few months ago and wish I'd bought them years ago. My feet don't kill me anymore and things don't bounce and roll as much as they did on concrete. My pads are about 1/4 - 1/2" thick.

I highly recommend them to anyone who has a workshop/garage.

I have it too, plus Z-Coil shoes - FANTASTIC !!!

Gentlemen,

I've had foam puzzle like sections with beveled edges at my lathe and stand up work bench for years. They wear like iron and help a lot. Got mine from one of the best woodworking stores. Peachtree Woodworking Supply. ptreeusa.com

I couldn't make it through a day without my Z-Coil shoes. Incredible.
zcoil.com "pain relief footwear" is their other name. I cannot say enough good things about their product. They prefer you to purchase from a dealer near you, however, if their is none, they will ship to you. Use their locator to find your dealer.

The new 2.0 shoe just came out, many improvements. UPS is supposed to deliver my first pair of the new shoes today.

I will be happy to answer any questions anyone has regarding these shoes.

I got lucky and picked up 16 of the interlocking ( jigsaw ) pads at a local Thrift Shop for $15.

I also got some used ones they tossed out at work years back. I do like them when turning or standing in the shop at a bench.
