Another Soapstone

With this one I wiped the sanded blanks with BLO and then finished with 8 coats of med CA. This was a tip from a member on another forum and I like the way it changes the color.
It is wrapped around a Noveau Sceptre BP.

That is pretty cool. Is your soapstone grainy looking? It could be my monitor, but it looks very grainy with black dots.

That's neat. Really changed the color of the stone. Almost like fossil. I wonder what dye would do, hint, hint....

What is the name of that soapstone?

Did it again! I cant decide whether I like the darker one or lighter. Both beautiful!
