Another rare Loweswood Bowl

Made another of my cheapo bowl blanks from 4' of 2x4 construction stud. Bowl is 8x3.5 and finished with Waterlox.

I like to practice new profiles on these $1 bowl blanks before trying them on nice wood. I was amazed the first time I did it that it ended up as nice looking as it did.

Since is it only for practice on the profile, I generally do not go nuts trying to deal with the rough spots on the end grain. I'll spray it with water to raise the end grain and run the scraper over it but nothing fancier than that.
