Got a new 8# Great Grandson yesterday. I'm not real keen on this genealogy stuff (had to use spell check to even spell it):smile: but I do believe this would make him (peanut for the time being, not named yet?????) Mike and Lindas' great nephew and Brandons' second cousin. He was born with a pre-birth diagnosed heart condition expected to require two surgeries. Doctors anticipate the first one tomorrow or the next day. At the present, color is good, feeding tube not required, and heartbeat and blood pressure good. This is probably the best time to do it. About 25 hours old as I write this. Heck of a way to start life. ANY and ALL PRAYERS APPRECIATED! Thanks and God Bless!!!

Well Dad is correct this is my Great Nephew and it breaks my heart that he will be going through all of this at such a young age, but if "Carter" (unless she has changed her mind) is anything like his Grandpa he'll be too stubborn to do anything but succeed. He's been in our prayers for months and I'm sure that is going to continue for quite some time. It's in God's hands and we pray that he has picked the hands of the surgeon with the greatest of care!

We will be praying! There has been a lot of it going on in our house lately.

Yesterday, the names bouncing off the walls, were Hunter and possibly Parker (Mels suggestion), with "Michael" maybe as one of the first and second. I'm not sure what sequence.

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL WHO HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS REQUEST AND IN ADVANCE TO ALL WHO WILL. CARTER (MOMMY FINALLY DECIDED ON A NAME) WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO PAYTON MANNING HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, TONIGHT WITH SURGERY TOMORROW. I SAW HIM TODAY AND HE'S LOOKING GOOD. SOOOOOOO PRECIOUS!!:angel: THANKS AGAIN!
 
SURGERY CANCELED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS THE ONE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THANKS ALL FOR THE PRAYERS. SURGERY, IN THE MORNING HAS BEEN CANCELED. PEANUT (CARTER) IS DOING SO WELL, THIS SURGERY IS PUT ON HOLD FOR NOW AND IF HIS INCREASE IN FOOD INTAKE CONTINUES PROGRESSING AS IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING IT IS PROJECTED HE WILL BE GOING HOME WITH MOMMY FRIDAY. HE WILL STILL NEED SURGERY ON DOWN THE WAY, BUT FOR THE TIME BEING, ALL IS WELL. DOES GOD ANSWER PRAYER??????????? Well Joe and Mrs Joe, I'm a bit of a Heathen, so my prayers would be wasted but I can assure you that I'm keeping my fingers crossed and wishing you all the best.
 
Guys and Gals we can't begin to thank you enough for all the support for my Great Nephew and Dad's 6th Great Grandson (did that make ya feel old Dad??)
Carter's heart problem won't just go away unfortunately - BUT the stronger he can get BEFORE the surgery and the Bigger he can grow then we all know that is BETTER!!! This is as Dad says the BEST NEWS we could have gotten at this point (other than that they misdiagnosed him in utero!)
