Since I have lived in both places (Springfield for 10 years and now outside of Fayetteville for the past 20 years) I feel like I can weigh in on this one...A really nice looking pen....Did you stabilize it? If so, what did you use?

not stablized...kinda...

after cutting the blanks to length I did flood them with thin CA before drilling...
