Especially for you folks that segment with different materials.

I've put together a blank that contains wood, aluminium and tru-stone. While doing so, I learned that epoxy wasn't going to hold, but that CA would do the trick.

Usually, I use epoxy to glue the tube in, but am thinking that at this point, I'd better try'n shove the tube in quickly with a good coating of CA.

What say all you folks that have done this before?

Always glue tubes in with thick ca... use medium to glue pieces together and for doing Ca finish.
Thin CA is mostly for getting all over my fingers and gluing them together or to what ever I have in my hand...:mad::biggrin:
