Lovely looking pen and I love the wood. I turned an Olive wood pen last week and used it in a jr Gentlemens pen, looks like it is compatable with any kit, great smell too!

Beautiful pen, nice details. Where did you get the olivewood from? I would like to make some from olivewood for some the other people in my seminary class. Seems like the appropriate wood for this use.

I have purchased the olive wood blanks from Woodturningz. I also just received some olive and olive burl blanks from the company in Isreal. These look really nice too. They do give off a nice aroma when you are turning them; almost as nice as sassafras.
