Another Band It

I started this with a different band but decided the contrast wasn't right. So I reverted to a matching band and finial. I believe the blank is stabilized buckeye burl.

I'll probably use the one on the left for another pen, bit the extra Buckeye burl will most likely be replaced. I've now done 5 of the band and two weren't usable in my opinion. Still a fun project. I'm trying for diamonds next...

That segmented center band is cut off a stick I got from you! So it IS nice segmenting. The trick is cutting to the correct thickness and not breaking it to pieces (took me two tries).
