Apparently, if he had been paying attention and not talking on his cell phone, that pelican wouldn't have scared him! Just another reason to ban talking on cell phones in cars.... This one cost him a bundle:biggrin:

I don't feel too bad for him. If you can afford $2 million dollar cars AND that's how you choose to spend your money, then.... well I don't know.... but it's not right.

Well, he'll probably spend another $500K to repair the water damage to that car. Cann't believe that he would let the engine run for 15 minutes while partially submerged!!! Ever hear of 'Hydro Lock'?.....you cann't compress water.....rods bend and have been known to go through blocks!!!

Oh, well......live and learn! It's only money, RIGHT?!

I hate it when I do that.

But Bruce, you can make your own repair parts out of titanium and still write off the cost of the repair .... not to mention being able to make your own rims and such to your own design.

BTW, hope all is well out in your area of the Roswell woods!

IF he can write the check for the car he can write the check for the insurance. I wonder what deductable he has though. $500.00? or is the decimal in the wrong place. I bet his premiums just went up. Mike

Wait, if a guy who owns a million dollar car is in a hurricane ravaged area buying real estate, doesn't that tell you something?? I've been to LaPorte looking for a house and I can tell you that there is allot of rebuilding going on and allot of houses empty.
