Hi Everyone
Been lurking for quite a while reading lots of the older posts, thought I should say hi before posting questions.
Been woodturning less than a year but find it great fun and very addictive.
Been pen making less than a month, steep learning curve Love acrylics  hate CA fumes:mad:.
Not sold any pens yet (given them all away:)) but have my first Christmas fair tomorrow (WED) so fingers crossed.

regards

John

Welcome John. Hope your Fair went well! You know, of course, although it is addictive, there is no support group for helping you quit making pens. ;-)

Below are links to two threads/articles that have lots of information on pen turning. The first one is a very basic overview of the many aspects of getting into turning pens.
http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=42446

The second link has postings by different pen turners and what they wish they had known earlier:

Here is another link - a PDF on the acronyms used here. I am sure you know many but this will help with those you don't.

How did the fair go? Any other sales? It is always great to hear of sales from those getting started in turning!
