Are Golden Amboyna Burl and Red Amboyna Burl just Amboyna Burl in different colors/shades, or are they different woods?

I think it is the same, just color variation. In my stash I had some that was very dark red brownand some that is more orangy-golden brown. Both turn the same and both have the typical smell of Amboyna Burl

Amboyna is a burl on the tree that is commonly known as narra (Pterocarpus Indicus). It is a rare, exotic hardwood that grows in Southeast Asia and has a fragrant aroma. It can vary in color from yellow to golden brown to red.

The more red it is the more rare and the more expensive it is. Most will be a light brown but if you get the deep reddish brown it is beautiful stuff, actually it is all beautiful but the red is my favorite.
