I would like to find some American Chestnut 1 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 5". I need about 20 pieces 5" long. I know its hard to find and may be expensive. Does anyone know someone or somewhere I can find Chestnut wood?
You can send a PM or on the site, either would be find by me.

Thanks, Preston

Steven Rose on the Facebook pen turning page has American Chestnut taken from an old 1922 Cabin in New York. If you can't find him I can try to get him your contact info.

My wife is from South Carolina and her maiden name is Chestnut. Her family started a cemetery in the1800"s and every year they have a get together, picnic to raise money for upkeep on the cemetery and so on. They bid on the pens and it went over good. I need some Chestnut wood to make some postage stamp holder-dispensers to donate to next year's get together

The size is 1-1/2" X 2-1/2" X 5" with the grain running the 5 "way. I need enough to make about 20 holders or so.

Thanks, Preston
