Here is a Amboyna Burl vase with a black ebony finial I did. It is 6 1/4" tall and 4 1/4" across. Finished with Minwax Antique Oil and wipe on Poly. This is my first one of these and the first finial I have made.

Thank you very much for the kind comments. I am going to do another one except this one will have a pedestal base out of ebony and the lid with the finial on it. It was fun to do and believe it or not the finial on top was my first after watching a Cindy Drozda's DVD Elegant Finials. Pretty good DVD.
