I was given a large aluminum heat sink that was 6" square and just over 3" high.

After cutting it down to fit a 1" wide silicone mold I mixed up Art & Glow resin and then mixed in 3 or 4 colors of Pearl Ex and filled the gaps.

Drilling and turning were a bit tricky as any heat build up loosened the resin and it came apart more than once. The next one I will go even slower on the drilling and turning so I don't have to put it back together.

This is the results.

This I really like. While I am all-in for segmenting, I really appreciate the precision for a blank like this. Very, very nice. Your colors are also well done.

Very cool pen.

Great Idea. GREAT looking pen. Didn't see it at first. I can see that we will have more of this in the future!
