Some recent alligator jawbone pens for a client who sells alligator products. He also wanted to know if I could make some pens with a combination jawbone/leather components. I told him I had never seen any blanks using alligator leather. He found someone who makes them and ordered some and they make a sweet looking pen.

I agree, those are great looking pens. I love the look with the Alligator skin combined with the jaw bone. Outstanding job!

I do a lot of Alligator jawbone pens....never thought about trying any of the skin (I never get any, just the bone) They look very nice! Well done

I wonder if it's real alligator or just embossed pig leather. And I wonder if they used epoxy or what to keep the leather on without becoming brittle over time and pealing off?
