December in south Chicago subs and no snow. Hell, few days ago it was almost 70 degrees. I still have broccoli and lettuce surviving in the garden. It's crazy. I am saving some money on propane costs for the shop heater though ;)

Well it's been subzerro for sometime here but not a flake since september 19th! We might get a bit this weekend but we shall see.

Can try to send some up from Juneau. I am already tired of shoveling.

You hogged it last year -- do it again (please).

:umbrella::umbrella: The Frozen Tundra of Green Bay is alive and well. Temp. in the 40s-60s last few weeks. Most of lawn is still green. It's a perfect world, no snow to shovel, grass to cut, or ice on the roads to slide on. Put up the Christmass decorations in short sleaves or light jacket. Of course the snowmobilers, skiers, deer hunters, and ice fisherman don't see it the same way. They predict rain again tomorrow, and maybe snow for the game Sunday night. If you ever watch a Packer game in December or January, you are accustomed to seeing fans in -10 degree weather with no shirts and wearing reindeer antlers or cheese on their heads, this year it could be sun screen. Last year we had the warmest or 2ed warmest Winter in Wisconsin history. Merry Christmas to everone !! Jim S

We got maybe 6 inches, but have lost all but an inch or two of crusty remains. It's been plenty cold, had the drain freeze since there's no snow insulating the ground. I heard we were supposed to be finally getting some this week, but who knows.

I can handle the dark and the cold through Alaskan winter just fine, but I do like a bit of snow so I can have fun...

I was going to head over to Nagano for some skiing this weekend but that tunnel that had the roof collapse (maybe you saw it on the news) is right on my way and it's still closed. So, it's a no go. A pretty good start to the snow season over here in Japan though.....

Dustings in the northeast so far although it is now finally cold enough for the ski mountains up north to make snow and it will last for more than a few hours!
