Hi,
Good morning,
I have been visiting this site for a approx a month, so I thought I had better say Hello, Hello.
I must admit it is awesome to see you guys work, the pens are mind blowing.I have only been making slimline for a couple of years ,been a turner for twelve or more years , but I must admit I lack imagination when you see the work being presented by you fellows.I bought some cigar pens to make , but haven't started on them yet. I have only been using native wood to Scotland or the UK , dark imported wood I think is very expensive. So that is my hello .I will keep lurking (Ithink that title is quite sinister.) You have to make a better one than lurker.

Welcome from Japan too! Join in on the fun here.

As a welcome, I am including a link to a PDF file that goes over many aspects of pen turning from finish - to pens - to tools - to methods etc. It is not in detail but a good overview for pen turning.

Also included below is a link to a new post that gives some information that people wished they had known earlier in pen turning. Some good information by those that make pens. Post your own comments also.
