I'm looking at the Trend second generation AirPro shield. For the turners who have this shield I have several questions

1. How long will the filters last?
4. Can the filter s be washed and reused?
2. If you wear glass is there enough room for them?
3. How does the elastic band feel under the chin ?
5. How easily is it to scratch the visor? to the point of renewing the visor?

Thanks for your input

1. How long will the filters last? Depends on the amount of dust in the air. They will last a lot longer if you use a dust collection system.

4. Can the filter s be washed and reused? No

2. If you wear glass is there enough room for them? Yes

3. How does the elastic band feel under the chin ? It is comfortable, I hardly notice it at all.

5. How easily is it to scratch the visor? As in any plastic, it scratches. Flying pieces of wood and resin will eventually make you replace it if you don't use the visor protectors.

to the point of renewing the visor? I have had my Pro for over a year, and I have not replaced the visor, but I HAVE replaced the visor protectors that I ordered with it. A very good investment.

Order an extra battery too.
