Anyhow got shock out of bed by a 4.6 quake this am. No damage here but the epicenter was just off shore from Anchorage, left a message with a pard down that way. Hope the city folks are all OK.

LOL then your heading for the wrong place! Alaska is one of the most geologically active places in the world. Here is a link to the reporting center.....take a look and you'll see what I mean. Alaska Region

You coming up for a visit or did the heat chase ya off? Where in AK will you be? Wanna grab a beer?

I herd from one of our freinds in Anchorage things are fine, they got shock prety good too........but my peeps anyway are all safe and sound.

We had one here in the UK a couple of years back, and for those which dont know thats extremely RARE here.

It was enough to shake the bed and for me to ask the wife what the hell is she doing  To which i got the reply that she thought it was me.

Was on the news in the morning which i found quite amusing... needless to say i wouldnt have found it amusing if it was a serious quake. id imagine thats pretty scary when it ranks up on the ol richter scale.

So far the worst injury is one of my wifes coworkers got knocked off her feet in the shower, couple of folks are minus the coffee cup they had at the breakfast table but nothing serious.

The quakes normally dont bother me but when one of the volcano's starts acting snotty I pay attention! We had one not to long ago drop enough ash on the property to melt all the snow from about 600 miles away. Lost comunications with our folks in Homer for a while too, not fun.
