I finally have my reeves pulley's reassembled for my HF 34706 (Jet JWL-1236 clone).

It's a lot louder at high speed than it was before, however. I don't know if it's the new belt, or how I adjusted the pulleys.

Is there a reference on how to line up the pulley systems - i.e. which ones line up at slow or high?

I have not done a lot of messing around with the Reeve's drive on my JWL-1236, mainly due to lack of tooling.

I know this link is about changing the belt, but it might provide some insight in getting things aligned:

Replacing the Jet JW1236 Drive Belt - NewWoodworker.com LLC

Also, there's a thread on another forum (sawmill creek) where the poster was replacing the bearings on his JWL-1236. Again, not quite the same as what you're doing, but it might have a nugget of info to glean.

How to Replace the bearings in a Jet 1236 Lathe.

If you do find something online to solve your problem, I have a notebook in Evernote related to JWL-1236 stuff. I have a two versions of the manual for the JWL-1236 and neither one get into pulleys. In both, the only place they show them is in the exploded diagram.
