Got home and now I'm unloading 2,000 lbs of burl -- GLOAT!!

I'll be picking the best ones and hiding them away for me[}]

The burls on the bottom of the crate are huge, 100+ lbs If you huys don't want them, they'll be chopped up for smaller projects.

The paela is special order only because it costs too much.
The 3 at the top are chechen, ramone, and ziricote.
Ramone is nearly yellow, not alot like Holly (sorry I forotten what it looked like)
All of them are incredible, the pics are bad and don't show the real figure.

Slabs and blanks are still green, I'll air dry them I think.

Those look terrible Darick. I can't imagine anyone buying them. You may as well just send them to me now (for free, of course) so you don't have to keep looking at them.

I just finished cutting a 20 pounder up, its Ramone.

Cut it into 1" thick sticks, They are in a cool area for air drying, The eyes are all over them, stunning blanks soon[][][]

Dad lets me take whatever wood I want for free, the pleasures of the wood business[][][][]


Oh, and ATTENTION everyone:

Its 2,700 pounds of burl, not 27,000! Dad put too many zeros in the email to me[}][] Sorry about that, he was suprised when I asked him about it.[]
Oh well, 2,700 is fine for now, he still has to log three more crates of it home[][]

BTW, its mostly burl caps and slabs.

The biggest burl in this crate weighs about 80 lbs.
