Aborted BASH entry

Thought I'd submit this one for the BASH, but re-read the rules for kitless and found that no ballpoints were allowed. :frown:

So here it is: my first completely kitless.

That's a great looking pen. I don't know why, but I really like that sea horse on there. Normally I'm not a fan of such adornments, but it just seems to fit.

That's a cigar double-twist mechanism with a Parker refill.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the seahorse either, but it looked like it was about the right size and the antiqued silver fit with the spalted maple so ...

What's the MPG pen contest? I've done a search for MPG and don't come up with any hits.

Additions to the IAP Collection can come from:​

1. A BASH Contest (soon to be announced)

2. MPG and MAPG and other regional gatherings of IAP members

3. Direct additions to the current Core Collection.

So... If you attend this year's MPG or MAPG, enter their respective contests, you may have the opportunity to have your pen added to the IAP Collection.

Congratulations on going kitless! The spalted maple looks like you found it on the beach so I think they go nicely together!

Edit......MAPG is Mid Atlantic Penturners Gathering in Richmond, Va. First weekend in May.

I already gave Michael a hard time about the no ballpoint thing :biggrin:

I had one that I've been tweaking on the design for a bit that I was planning to enter but couldn't find a home for it in any of the contests except freestyle which it didn't belong in since it wasn't a spaceship :wink:
