A Question re: Pen Drilling Jaws

Before I spend money foolishly I want to throw out a question. Will the pen drilling jaws (for the "C" series chucks) work on the original Nova chuck? I'd like to begin drilling on the lathe but I don't want to buy another chuck unless I have to. Many thanks for any help. http://www.pennstateind.com/store/CJAWPEN.html

If you have pin jaws they should do the trick and wouldn't be limited to just boring pen blanks.

Dan -- Nova jaws are all interchangable amongst the Nova chucks and they are NOT interchangable with my Barracuda chucks (have both brands).

Personally, the Nova is a better chuck and the pin (also called Spigot and 25 mm) jaws are a good product. They hold square and round objects nicely. While not the best fit, they work fairly well in the 1 3/8 recesses if there is good shoulder for the end of the jaws to face against.
