One of the members asked about limitting the number of times a person in the ID contest can answer at a given time.

He/she is correct in that some people do three to four posts at once.

I like the idea, however, anyone can play by those rules, so I do not see any one person having an advantage over another except for those on dial-up, as they do have a slower response time.

So, my question is:

For the last two contests, should I make it one answer per hour only, or just leave it?

Jerry

p.s. this one took all week to get, so the buildup for the next contest is not there like last week

The rules were posted, like you said, same for all. I say consider changing it next year but let it ride as is this year.

Actually, every week is a new game, so you could "tweak" the rules.

However, you have had a pretty good response rate, with the current rules. So, it's probably best to leave it alone, until next year.

Be sure to make a note somewhere in the planning threads about your contest----when next year comes (as it always seems to do), it will jog your memory.
