I stopped by a local cigar shop today and chatted with the manager and showed him a few pieces and he was very impressed. I got a few cigar bands from him and making a cigar pen for the owner to hopefully get my foot in the door. I will turn it tomorrow and show him this weekend! Hope it works out for me!!!

Good luck. Post pictures. How many coats of BLO/CA are you putting over the label?

I have turned the wood real thin and then applied the label and then cast PR over it and waiting for it to cure and will turn it on friday and stop by the store and show the bossman....

Hey Mike, it is a Padron 1926 series. It looks real cool in the cast....I will post pics as soon as they are ready. Hope to get it done today. We are having 4 trees cut down in the yard and they are grinding the stumps now.

You might think about making a cigar punch or two to show him. Those might be something that a cigar shop would like to have on hand.
