A&M wood pen blank

Hey guys i am looking for some suggestions or caster/staiblizers for a blank for a texas a&m graduate. want it to be a higher end rollerball and maroon. just trying to get some ideas or info on someone that may be able to dye or something, i do have decal paper if i need to make the logo, but looking for a really nice blank and a suggestion on a really nice componet set.

I've made some Aggie pens from Jarrah burl that were well received. I just gave them a friction polish finish & after a couple of years, the blanks have retained their maroonish color.

If it doesn't have to be wood, all of the Texas Woodcraft stores carry maroon & white acrylic blanks made by IAP member rjimenez who lives just a few miles from me. I've also made a couple of those & they turned out quite nice.

I made several with maroon and white stripes. I used stock maroon and stock white blanks. I just performed some very basic segmenting. You can do it!
