A little spalted bowl

This is from a tree that fell about 4 years back and parts have been laying behind the shop since it was built in 2005.. I see that I am beginning to lose some of this wood, so I need to get really busy and turn up as much as I can. This piece is nicely spalted, but is alwo full of worm or beetle holes.. lots of CA went into stabilizing also.. finish is CA/BLO then buffed with a little wax.

Nice bowl, I also turn more bowls than pens but that is because there is more of a market for bowls here in Hawaii. i turn pens to relax, great job on your bowl, aloha.
