A Goof That I Think I Like

I received an order for a brass fountain pen. I was turning it last night and managed to get the cap slightly undersized. After staring at it for a bit and grumbling a lot, I tried it on one of my carry pens. I think I like it, the kit parts are sort of emphasized. They are a slightly different color than the brass, so that is why it works. I'm thinking of trying the same thing with aluminum and a gold kit for even more contrast. I tried a picture, but I can't get one to show it effectively.

There are no goofs. They are modifications.

Here is the picture. The cap is a bit underside but I think I like it. The effect would be more dramatic if it were a contrasting color.
