Keep your Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Jo-Ann- I shopped for wood.

All this plus a quart of TiteBond 3 for around $170: 3 bf purpleheart, 7 bf maple, 14 bf cherry and 7 bf walnut. The walnut is 5/4 for a couple of thick 12"x15" cutting boards. It is a serious drive to get to Santa Ana from Tehachapi but coupled with fill ups of my two pcp airgun tanks, a delivery of fish plus a meal with a friend it all worked.

Good to hear you enjoyed yourself. I'd be careful about putting the other stores off though. I get some items from those places that make some interesting pens. Ha Ha.

I use a lot of cloth and the Americana Acrylic Paints sold there. I used to buy my vinyl sheets there until they started selling it by the roll only. I do t use quite that much.
