A Curly Maple Thimble

There was a post in another thread about making thimbles from pen blank cut offs and it started me wondering if I could do it , so I tried .

I've gotten allot of practice with jam chucks making kitless pens lately , it seems to have helped

I just made one for a friend recently, I used a Dremel Rotary tool with a burr to add some dimples on the top.
