A Couple of Simple Segments

I have been playing around with some segmenting, and here are a few of my first attempts. The first is a Cherry Burl with a couple of Red Dyed Boxelder segments. It is finished with HUT WAX PPP....I was looking for the nice used look patina. The next is a Boxelder Burl with Green Dyed Maple segments, finished with CA. The pen kits are Jr. Miltons in Antique Brass and Antique Silver.

Both are beautiful but I think the Brass antique

Sorry about above-again-I think both are beautiful but the Brass Antique kit matches the green/wood perfectly
