Our church has hosted a couple of interns from a bible college this summer. They're going to be heading back soon, and I thought they'd like to have a nice pen.
This first one is Australian Lace Sheoak, finished with CA, buffed to 12,000 grit with those mesh pads, then several applications of Hut's ultra gloss. This is the pen that made the "tick" sound. My daughter didn't even realize that the black spot on the upper part was the problem area. lol
The "defect"
The other cigar pen is bocote, also finished with a lot of layers of CA, mesh pads and Hut's ultra gloss.
