A Couple From My Upcoming Demo

I mentioned earlier that I will be a demonstrator at the AAW this year along with John Underhill and Ed Brown from ExoticBlanks will be a vendor. One of my classes is called "Christmas In June" and I will be turning gifts for friends and family. Here are two peppermills I will be demoing.

The first was originally a concept for my daughter. And the second is a hand cast banksia pod. I like how these came out. Comments are welcome. And if in the area come out and see John, Ed (and possibly Dawn), and myself.

I've never really understood the appeal of banksia pod turnings before now, but the way you've combined that with resin, it looks absolutely stunning.
