A brush with two rat hairs=$10,000 pen

I saw this and was quite impressed to say the least! Its quite a deal for $10,000, considering the time and level of craftmans ship put into it. If it were another brand it would, IMO, go for much more. If I had made it I would sell it for more! (or try anyway)

Namiki (Pilot), Nakaya, Danitrio and of course Chriselle wink::biggrin all have their own wonderful urushi and Makie masterpieces....

There's a Makie fair up in Tokyo next weekend and if my schedule allows I'll be going.

Haha...I wish I could, too but I don't do much makie except for the odd sprinkle here or sprinkle there. Most makie pens sell for significantly less than the advertised price.
