Just fiddling about in my first day back in the workshop after my fall. I think that this design could be a 'fidget' pen as the lines run all around. I may change the Mahogany to a veneered insert as it makes it look a bit heavy, if I ever make another one. IMG_1421.JPGIMG_1426.JPGIMG_1430.JPGIMG_1429.JPGIMG_1431.JPG

Segmenting is something that I want to tackle and learn at some point in the not too distant future. Any tips? Good YouTube videos, etc?
Hello Michael. .....Look through the 10 pages of segmented pens on this site and see what types that you like the most. Here's a link if you havent come across the section before.
Try simple segmentations.....simple does not mean easy as you need to find different coloured timbers that look good together and that a good symmetry is achieved.
I have two examples here......
