I just was reading through some older posts that dealt with 9/11 and most asked where were you on that date and time when all our lives changed. Two posts stood out that capture the time. The first was by PR Princess. Dawn posted a link to a video that is pretty touching back in 2015. Here is the link. I am sorry I can not get the video to load here but if you use the link you will see it. Thanks for looking.

And this one. The pen was made by Eric Beuker (Buzzzz4) in 2014. It made the front page after some encouraging. I believe this pen should grace the front page every year on this date. Then Jeff can resume with whatever pen he wishes but for one day out of the year we all agree that there is only one pen that stands out throughout this site. To all the men and women who lost their lives on that day and also those that lost their lives due to overcoming illness from working the Pile on the days that followed, we honor you and we will Never Forget.

Thanks for posting, JT !! . We all need to remember and think about that horrific event.

I have to ammend this post because Gordon made a post also about this tragic day and he reminded me of a very beautiful piece of art work done by Siprat. Steve did a fantastic job on his rendition of the trade towers. I am not sure how I forgot about this. But now there are 3 things that I remember when reading back on these threads over the years dealing with 9/11. Thank you Gordon.

I was lucky enough to hold these two pens in my hands. Beautifully done they mean even more today on 9/11/16.

I don't get here very often anymore but stopped by to see how things were going. This pen is a very special pen who went to a fireman and stamp collector in Chicago. I will never forget. Thank you for posting this.

Eric, it truly is an inspiring piece and I am glad to hear you did what you did with it. I am sure it has even more meaning to that person. I know I will remember it. I hope to someday do my version but yours will always stand heads above any others. Thank you.
