Shellac sanding sealer and then three coats of lacquer .

Sorry about the poor pictures above under bright lights in my shop . This is exactly how it looks under normal lighting in the dining room .

Lovely grain, I like the shape of the bowl and that's one glossy finish. Well done indeed!
