I got some old 500 nitro express brass and I'm planning on making them into pens. I have a couple of options for bullets to use for nibs. do you like the round one or the hollow point? I'm leaning towards the round one as that matches what they look like as ammo, but it would be great to get some other opinions.

thanks

Are you going to be selling/giving them to people who really know cartridges? Then the round one would probably go over better. That's the one I like!

My preference is to use a bullet that matches the cartridge being used. 500 Nitro Express is loaded with round-nose bullets, so a hollow point or spire point bullet would look wrong to anyone who actually shoots that caliber.

Eric
