Today my child bride (18 when the event took place) and I celebrated the 49th anniversary of our wedding day. 6 kids; 7 grandkids; 25 years of elementary school, high school and college sporting events, parents nights, dances, talent shows, graduations, commencements, and various other events; and 5 weddings have not managed to drive us apart or insane (there could be some discussion on the latter). Truth is we still kinda like each other.

Smitty -

Congratulations to you and your wonderful wife. I understand your sentments - I still cannot believe my beloved wife said yes 35 years ago. Time passes too quickly when you're happy and in love.

Matthew

Congratulations, that is awesome. 27 years so far for me and my bride she was 18, I was 19. Not a recommended age for marrying but no regrets here.

Congratulations! Our 49th is coming up on the 23rd of June. I had just turned 19 and he was an old man of 23.
