Had a great day yesterday in the shop. All 4 of these turned out really well and fortunately are already sold. Only one problem - I'm running out of antler! :smile:

How do you keep the mottled color on the surface of the blank? When I have turned antler it all seems to turn away and just leave me with something that loos like Ivory...

I try and use antler at least 1 1/2" in diameter, and I don't necessarily want to drill dead center.
