$250 (almost) Pens

[Old Griz]

Here are my almost $250 pens... actually 3 Fountain Pens that will be priced to total $225.. I got close at least..

A Black Locust Burl Baron in Black TN.. interesting blank finished with sanding sealer, CA and TSW followed by Ren Wax..

A Black Locust Baron in Sterling Silver.. finished with sanding sealer, CA and TSW followed by Ren Wax..

A Gmelina Arborea Baron in Black TN ... real interesting wood.. kind of a Khaki Olive with dark olive burl spots, very very pretty.. finished with sanding sealer, CA and TSW to more of an eggshell finish .. I found this listed as White Teak, Grey Teak and Snapdragon Tree.. I think I like the last name best..
Unfortunately the picture just does not do justice to the wood..

Well, now's as good a time as any to print my newest joke/reality statement:
I was thinking of starting my own forum "International Network of Eager Preskilled Turners. INEPT. [] That's how I feel seeing some of the great work (like these pens) in this forum. Btw, that locust burl kind of looks like some awesomely figured koa, it's my favorite too. I just love curl.

All three are impressive, Tom. I know I'm a little strange and I guess it shows here because I like the snapdragon best. []
