today I will run to town and get wire, boxes, service box, etc and start wiring the shop up..then to move all the tools that were stuffed in a 24x16 shop and spread thru my house (halls, entryway etc) ..finally after 23 yrs I will not have wood dust throughout my house...I believe the sacrifice was worth it (didn't eat out, didn't buy new clothes..got just about every thing I needed from our l;ocal thrift shop drove the same car for 14 yrs) Just put $5-10 away as I could..a mere 23 yrs later it is becoming reality...hopefully I won't have a heart attack moving all the machinery!!!! hope you've enjoyed the trip to my new shop..thanks for all those who took time to comment:biggrin:

I for one enjoyed riding along!! Once you were ready....you ran and jumped, but you didn't play! Great job and I hope you get 46 years of enjoyment out of it!!:good:

A workshop that Norm the new Yankee would be proud of:biggrin:

I hope you show us some inside pics once you've moved in and before it gets full to the rafters with sawdust:biggrin:

Congrats & the shop looks great, I'm sure the frugal spending and savings will be worth every penny... good for you!!! Please send pics when your set up, can't wait to see the inside operational.

The shop is looking great. I'm impressed with how quickly it is coming together. Looking forward to the inside shots once you get all your tools set up.

Keith , it just looked fast..I'm 64 and disabled and my carpentry partner 68..we are pretty slow..I made the walls 2 mos ago and had them ready to hoist up...trusses are fast..the hardest part was sheeting the roof and laying the shinges..it was hot for this far north and the heat really punched us good...off now to start running wire...thanks all
