2 way walkies

I want a simply to use walkie talkie that sits in a charger base....(not a with the mini plug). I currently have Cobra set...do not like it for x amount of reasons. Any recommendations. Thank you.
EDIT: What I really need is a 2 way pager. Can be verbal or simply a buzzer/tone.
