2 Color Castings

I have seen some resin bottle stopper blanks that are a soild color on the lower section of the blank and it has a clear top (some of them have an item inside of it). How do you cast this type of blank?

Two casts. Cast the color first 1/2 or 1/4 the height of the mold and let it set either fully or "most of the way". Then cast the clear on top.
